A few good ideas mixed with a few BAD ideas

This book would have been a good introduction to geocaching if several of the ideas presented were not so glaringly bad. It is against geocaching rules to bury caches in the ground. However, this book recommends doing this several times. It also has some bad ideas like putting up fake "no hunting" signs with caches hid behind them, or disguising your cache as litter. This could get you in trouble and gives geocaching a bad name.
If you read this book, be sure to read the official rules and ethics of the game. Also, be sure to check your local laws on geocaching.

Not Just for GeoCachers

This book was written specifically for geocachers. In fact, the first 62% of this book is a basic introduction to geocaching(and not a bad one).
The meat of the book, however, is the list of "Devil Caches".
The "Devil Caches" are diabolically tricky places and ways to hide your caches. These are presented as ways to challenge geocachers who are searching for your cache. You could also use these caching concepts to hide your own personal caches of data, supplies, or whatever you don't want found.
From drilled holes behind reflectors mounted on wood poles to the interior of a toilet paper roll holder, you are sure to find a cache technique that you haven't considered before.
I was a little worried that the kindle version might not be properly formatted with all the illustration images for the different caches, but it displayed without issue on my Gen4 Kindle.
This book is recommended for the creative geocacher who wants to challenge seekers of his caches or for anyone who wants to read about creative ways to hide things.

There are some good ideas here, but many are derivative of each other, and some are downright bad ideas for geocaches.
Not very many unique ideas here. Its a good bathroom book, but not anything I'd consider a useful tome if I was going to go out and hide a cache.
