An excellent addition to church and Christian youth libraries, gloriously illustrated by Lin Wang in a striking watercolor and colored pencil style she has dubbed "ethereal Realism".

Beautiful picture book portraying the true story!

I have to agree with a previous comment that this book portrays the real story of the wise men, and their venture following the star of Bethlehem to find the new born king. Although for 5 and up, my 4 yr. old, and his friends close to the same age were enthralled by the pictures and the story line. I used this book for a Cultural Playdate: Celebrating Three Kings Day (story time & crafts). As a Puerto rican we celebrate The Epiphany, and this was a perfect book to use. Highly recommend it!
