About the Author
Tom Zirpoli holds the Laurence J. Adams Endowed Chair in Special Education at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland.� He completed his Ph.D. in Special Education�from the University of Virginia and his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University.� Dr.�Zirpoli has taught behavior management and classroom management at McDaniel College; the�Univeristy of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minessota; and the Univeristy of Virginia.��He�has written books and journal articles on basic behavior management, classroom management, and parenting.��He has conducted hundreds of professional development trainings for teachers, K-12,�on classroom management, as well as parenting workshops across the nation.
